(Emphasis added.) > The result over the last four months has been **$4,158,500,000 in gifts to 384 organizations across all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and Washington D.C.** Some are filling basic needs: food banks, emergency relief funds, and support services for those most vulnerable. Others are addressing long-term systemic inequities that have been deepened by the crisis: debt relief, employment training, credit and financial services for under-resourced communities, education for historically marginalized and underserved people, civil rights advocacy groups, and legal defense funds that take on institutional discrimination. I love that Scott also included the list and links to every one of those 384 organizations. Very well done. 👏 ## Facts - Kind: [Page](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/kinds/page/) ## Saved the same week - [A Beginner's Garden of Chess Openings](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/25db59befaf6/) (dwheeler.com, December 19, 2020) - [Hyvor Talk - The Best Commenting Platform For Your Website](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/619fe1d3dcee/) (talk.hyvor.com, December 19, 2020) - [SPS Commerce Acquires Data Masons | SPS Commerce, Inc.](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/3a872084a623/) (investors.spscommerce.com, December 19, 2020) - [xkcd: 2020 Election Map](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/53054f427847/) (xkcd.com, December 19, 2020) - [The Hustle Is Dead to Me — MacSparky](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/afb849835f26/) (macsparky.com, December 19, 2020) ## Elsewhere - Wayback Machine: https://web.archive.org/web/*/https://mackenzie-scott.medium.com/384-ways-to-help-45d0b9ac6ad8
