QR codes | Dan Hollick 🇿🇦

I absolutely devoured this post, how wonderfully interesting to learn a bit about how QR codes actually work. I will admit I was firmly in the camp that made fun of QR codes, but then along came a pandemic and smart phones and we all realized they can be pretty awesome.

Highlights from me:

1. I’m amazed at how much error correction information a QR code has so it can be resilient to damage and being partially obscured.
2. The version 40 QR code is gigantic!
3. How amazing that the company that invented them made them free by never exercising their patent. 💛

Take a dig through this and be amazed. 🤓
