It also allows staffers and users to interact and contribute to stories as they do develop. I had a chance to sit down with WCCO’s Director of New Media, John Daenzer to talk more about what WCCO hopes to accomplish with The Wire and to get a pre-launch walk-through of the service. ## Facts - Kind: [Page](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/kinds/page/) ## Same host - [Minnov8 Gang Podcast - Episode 37](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/75adb95be311/) (minnov8.com, May 27, 2009) - [DoApp Making Big Strides with ‘Mobile Local News’ App](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/a4aba57f04f3/) (minnov8.com, October 16, 2009) - [Alvenda Bags $5 Million in VC](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/d5b313271144/) (minnov8.com, January 17, 2010) - [Minnov8 Gang 100th Podcast](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/f6eba570994e/) (minnov8.com, November 10, 2010) - [Minneapolis ‘Unusually Successful’ and ‘Respected by Tech Insiders’](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/e0051a898276/) (minnov8.com, November 11, 2010) ## Saved the same week - [Best Paper for Riedl](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/ffe87af9729c/) (cs.umn.edu, November 3, 2009) - [New website and new ideas](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/ead5f429ff20/) (minnestar.org, November 3, 2009) - [I have seen so many young entrepreneurs and…](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/eee30fcf88a1/) (signalvnoise.com, November 4, 2009) - [New gear and new friends at the Canon Expo](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/2db145c0b526/) (dslrnewsshooter.com, November 4, 2009) - [MinneBar Officially Full](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/f7478358448f/) (minnestar.org, November 4, 2009) ## Elsewhere - Wayback Machine: https://web.archive.org/web/*/http://minnov8.com/2009/11/03/wcco-walks-the-wire/
