"title": "Facebook Is Developing A Tool To Summarize News Articles",
"note": "Okay, wait a second. So, Facebook, who already should not be trusted to decide which content you want to see, is now suggesting that in addition to determining what you will see they will also summarize it so you don't have to read the whole thing?\r\n\r\n> During Tuesday’s meeting, the company also unveiled an AI assistant tool called “TLDR,” which could summarize news articles in bullet points so that a user wouldn’t have to read the full piece. Named after the online acronym for “too long, didn’t read,” the tool supposedly could also provide audio narration, as well as a vocal assistant to answer.\r\n\r\nYou have to be kidding me. This reaction is perfect.\r\n\r\n> “I feel sometimes like there is someone in FB HQ whose job is trying to come up with new ways of completely destroying any semblance of intelligence in America,” tweeted WNYC editor-in-chief Audrey Cooper.\r\n\r\nMy reaction to Facebook's TL;DR? How about WTF! ",
