I’ve been a Fastmail user for many years and when I saw this I instantly went into Claude and added the connection. It was super-simple and then I asked Claude if it could see my email and there it was. I've not done anything all that advanced with it but I’m very happy with how seamless and easy it is. It is also great that it connects to my Claude account and instantly was available on all of my Claude interfaces. Oh how I wish I had a similar MCP for OmniFocus. ## Facts - Kind: [Page](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/kinds/page/) ## Appears in - [WT345: Weekly Thing 345 / Codex, Headless, Wikiwise](https://weekly.thingelstad.com/archive/345/), Notable ## Same host - [Introducing the Fastmail desktop app | Fastmail](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/f13e657773a9/) (fastmail.com, October 14, 2025) ## Saved the same week - [Introducing ChatGPT Images 2.0 | OpenAI](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/08ccbc17ddee/) (openai.com, April 23, 2026) - [Mac Power Users #845: Intentional Technology with Patrick Rhone - Relay](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/a41f0a280c93/) (relay.fm, April 23, 2026) - [Noah Kahan: Tiny Desk Concert : NPR](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/5137290973d5/) (npr.org, April 23, 2026) - [Daring Fireball: Trump on Tim Apple](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/2f97268068fc/) (daringfireball.net, April 23, 2026) - [Daring Fireball: Another Day Has Come](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/3b5bb72e43dd/) (daringfireball.net, April 23, 2026) ## Elsewhere - Wayback Machine: https://web.archive.org/web/*/https://www.fastmail.com/blog/an-mcp-server-for-fastmail/
