# AnandTech - Manual Camera Controls in iOS 8 - Host: [anandtech.com](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/hosts/anandtech.com/) - Saved: June 19, 2014 (2014-06-20T04:45:08Z) - Record: https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/28b35e93e313/ - JSON: https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/28b35e93e313.json ## From the page (probably an excerpt, not Jamie's words) To be clear, iOS 8 will expose just about every manual camera control possible. This means that ISO, shutter speed, focus, white balance, and exposure bias can be manually set within a custom camera application. Outside of these manual controls, Apple has also added gray card functionality to bypass the auto white balance mechanism and both EV bracketing and shutter speed/ISO bracketing. ## Facts - Kind: [Page](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/kinds/page/) ## Same host - [OCZ’s Vertex Limited Edition Review & SSD State of the Union - AnandTech](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/3151efebde7f/) (anandtech.com, February 23, 2010) - [The Apple iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus Review](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/e25d1e86f625/) (anandtech.com, November 8, 2015) - [The Apple A15 SoC Performance Review: Faster & More Efficient](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/cfaab6c113a4/) (anandtech.com, October 7, 2021) ## Saved the same week - [Keybase directory signing](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/16b79fcb9a7d/) (keybase.io, June 18, 2014) - [Delightful robots for children to program - Play-i](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/4084614eb44c/) (play-i.com, June 19, 2014) - [Prolost - Blog - Lightroom for Your Camera](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/617ead8f48e0/) (prolost.com, June 19, 2014) - [Glass Half Empty - YouTube](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/0252f5aa08a5/) (youtube.com, June 19, 2014) - [MyFC PowerTrekk - Fuel Cell Charger](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/5bd0f584dbde/) (powertrekk.com, June 22, 2014) ## Elsewhere - Wayback Machine: https://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.anandtech.com/show/8131/manual-camera-controls-in-ios-8
