Scheduling events is my kryptonite. I’m terrible at it. I often have a model that if the first run at dates doesn't work, it just wasn't meant to be. Scheduling is likely one of my worst anti-patterns. So to me this bit of AI generated art is absolutely brilliant… so so great. > This piece simulates scheduling hell by generating infinite & unique combinations of meeting conflicts between two friends. Using GPT-3, a roster of fictional people was created with name, age, occupation, and interests. From these people, the AI generated banal conflicts that arise in their lives. I can just watch it go on and on… it’s so horribly great. Just the best. I love that you can buy them as NFTs as well! Fifteen are available to mint, and three have been sold so far. $5,000 though is a big gulp. ## Facts - Kind: [Page](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/kinds/page/) ## Appears in - [WT189: Weekly Thing #189 / TiddlyWiki, JsonLogic, Smiling](https://weekly.thingelstad.com/archive/189/), Featured ## Saved the same week - [GPT-3 Can Write Disinformation Now—and Dupe Human Readers | WIRED](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/82600b348b06/) (wired.com, June 3, 2021) - [Now use your Coinbase Card with Apple Pay® and Google Pay™ | The Coinbase Blog](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/48ef3fb7e102/) (blog.coinbase.com, June 3, 2021) - [JBS Cyber Hack: Meat Supplier Shuts Down Some Slaughterhouses After Attack - Bloomberg](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/216baa231d91/) (bloomberg.com, June 3, 2021) - [Ekow Nimako - Surrealistic, Lego Art | Ekow Nimako](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/73be3b8e3630/) (ekownimako.com, June 3, 2021) - [Timery Comes to the Mac and Makes Time Tracking With Toggl Easier Than Ever - MacStories](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/062ffe3077d7/) (macstories.net, June 3, 2021) ## Elsewhere - Wayback Machine: https://web.archive.org/web/*/https://www.jamesyu.org/a/things-are-a-little-crazy-rn/
