# Muxtape: Beautifully simple - Host: [signalvnoise.com](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/hosts/signalvnoise.com/) - Saved: March 25, 2008 (2008-03-25T20:42:00Z) - Record: https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/30628e73b58c/ - JSON: https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/30628e73b58c.json ## From the page (probably an excerpt, not Jamie's words) Man I just adore simple solutions like Muxtape. Heres a sample muxtape for reference. Dead simple, absolutely clear, quenches a common thirst (sharing a collection of songs with a friend), cant-mess-up easy (username, email, password then upload MP3s). For a tiny touch of personality you can change the color of the strip at the top of the screen. I imagine this could get shut down, but I love the exercise in simple execution. There are so many ways this could have been complicated. Muxtapes elegance demonstrates the power of sticking to the point. ## Facts - Kind: [Page](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/kinds/page/) ## Same host - [Gary the Great: Vaynerchuk sets the example of how to succeed in business today](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/465c642b61ec/) (signalvnoise.com, April 9, 2008) - [A peek at InOut, an internal app at 37signals](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/52718d8e3954/) (signalvnoise.com, April 17, 2008) - [Why I love working with family people](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/adabc4837b81/) (signalvnoise.com, April 24, 2008) - [Start a business, not a startup](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/acc7c19ac023/) (signalvnoise.com, April 25, 2008) - [Web designers should do their own HTML/CSS](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/25f7029b1f87/) (signalvnoise.com, June 5, 2008) ## Saved the same week - [I Just Fell In Love With FriendFeed](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/8cbb6aca543d/) (avc.blogs.com, March 25, 2008) - [SQLite Administrator - International Milestone Beta](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/ae163ec1af17/) (sqliteadmin.orbmu2k.de, March 25, 2008) - [ExpanDrive](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/20f16be3529e/) (expandrive.com, March 25, 2008) - [FriendFeed Launches API - This Should be Interesting](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/76c1baf66d89/) (readwrite.com, March 25, 2008) - [FriendFeed API Documentation](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/83064817d69d/) (code.google.com, March 25, 2008) ## Elsewhere - Wayback Machine: https://web.archive.org/web/*/https://signalvnoise.com/posts/933-muxtape-beautifully-simple
