Taleb is full of himself, but he's also smart and often right.

I appreciate his specific callout that a pandemic is **not** a Black Swan.

>  Had they read that book, they would have known that such a global pandemic is explicitly presented there as a white swan: something that would eventually take place with great certainty.

Also an interesting take that if your industry is bailed out, by definition you are a utility and should operate differently.
