As always, the good Ryan Daigle has been keeping a watchful eye on the changelog and has been documenting some of the new features. The latest stars are: Gem Dependencies Dirty tracking with partial updates has_finder in the form of named_scope Built-in timezone support Better caching infrastructure ## Facts - Kind: [Page](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/kinds/page/) ## Same host - [Rails 2.0: It's done](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/23c84ff8ad79/) (weblog.rubyonrails.org, December 7, 2007) - [Rails premieres on GitHub](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/5acae77563d9/) (weblog.rubyonrails.org, April 11, 2008) - [Passenger (mod rails for Apache) launches](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/00851850a7f7/) (weblog.rubyonrails.org, April 11, 2008) - [RailsConf in 36 minutes](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/706e9e143e9c/) (weblog.rubyonrails.org, June 2, 2008) - [Capistrano 2.4.0](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/3b2c36fc7f0e/) (weblog.rubyonrails.org, June 13, 2008) ## Saved the same week - [Its Lightroom 2.0 Baby (Beta that is)](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/ad9fd187a3ff/) (lightroomkillertips.com, April 2, 2008) - [Lightroom 2 beta Available](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/fab1a2df20f4/) (blogs.adobe.com, April 2, 2008) - [Need A Job?
