Initial Details on Using Driver’s Licenses and State ID’s in Apple Wallet — Daring Fireball

I've been wondering when more secure forms of identification will be integrated into digital wallets. I wish Minnesota was one of the early adopters. The implementation is interesting, since it is more like a NFC purchase. You don't show your ID on the screen, you allow your ID to be displayed on a device that the requester is using. Like paying with a credit card. Interesting.
