## What Jamie wrote

I was sad to hear that [Neeva is shutting down](https://www.thingelstad.com/2023/05/20/oh-no-neeva.html). I have no interest in returning to the surveillance economy for search, so I’m looking for new options. Gruber [mentioned](https://daringfireball.net/linked/2023/05/22/neeva-shuts-down) Kagi and I know he is pretty picky so that is a notable signal for me. I’m giving Kagi a try to see how I like it. So far it is working well.
