I've been on Bitclout for about four months now. [I am @jthingelstad](https://bitclout.com/u/jthingelstad?feedTab=Following&tab=posts) there. I even have a [profile for @WeeklyThing](https://bitclout.com/u/WeeklyThing?feedTab=Following&tab=posts). Bitclout has reminded me in many ways of the very early days on Twitter. It is the first blockchain application I've used that doesn't feel like a blockchain. Anyone could use it without any awareness of that. It does feel in some ways like something truly new.

This interview pulls the curtain back on some of the things looking to be done.

> Diamondhands doesn’t go through life in a high-tech Daft Punk disguise. It’s not physical anonymity they’re after, but corporate. There is no CEO, board, or shareholders of BitClout — just token holders. They believe that an open, blockchain-based organization where the direction is set by the community with no corporate entity to compete with — or be shut down by — will outcompete social media’s traditional ads-driven business model.

Sounds like a DAO! 🤔 

The biggest struggle with Bitclout is getting network effect, and extending outside of people that just use it because it is decentralized. I hope the team continues to push. Looks like [my coin value](https://www.prosperclout.com/u/jthingelstad?tab=overview) has dropped a little bit.
