Our machine performed the target computation in 200 seconds, and from measurements in our experiment we determined that it would take the world’s fastest supercomputer 10,000 years to produce a similar output.\n\n10,000 years to 200 seconds? I had to do the math. **That's 1,578,000,000 times faster.** What does that mean, nearly all encrypted documents we have today are probably easily decrypted with brute force tactics.
