## What Jamie wrote

Imagine Twitter built on a blockchain protocol with it’s own native coin. BitClout recently [open sourced the entire platform](https://bitclout.com/posts/46684756d5059f842646ff70d2bf5f6a788a0c2f3446ab0c2a19138358612a49) delivering on a completely open and decentralized network. There are a ton of interesting concepts here, and it should be completely bot resistant since each account requires a small Bitcoin transfer. I setup a profile at **[@jthingelstad](https://bitclout.com/u/jthingelstad?tab=posts)** and also made one for the **[@WeeklyThing](https://bitclout.com/u/WeeklyThing?tab=posts)**. Like all BitClout accounts those are also Creator Coins [$jthingelstad](https://bitclout.com/u/jthingelstad?tab=creator-coin) and [$weeklything](https://bitclout.com/u/WeeklyThing?tab=creator-coin). As with all users on BitClout you can trade in their coins. 🤯

I don't think this is going to dislodge Twitter, but it is a very interesting example of a decentralized network.
