Its job would be narrower than replacing Nvidia across the industry. Instead, it gives buyers another credible option for private workloads that demand local control without wasting power. It is unique that Apple can put enough compute power in a box that can sit on a desk, be powered with a regular outlet, not require special cooling, and be quiet enough to not need to be in a room of its own. For a number of professions and use cases with AI I also suggest we are going to want to go **opposite** of the last 20 years of cloud migration and run that workload locally. The most precise cost management we can have is running something on our own hardware. And if you are dealing with sensitive data running it locally is a great way to protect it.
