# Free, Open-source Anonymous Email Forwarding - AnonAddy - Host: [anonaddy.com](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/hosts/anonaddy.com/) - Saved: December 1, 2019 (2019-12-02T02:27:14Z) - Record: https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/9234205bb33c/ - JSON: https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/9234205bb33c.json ## What Jamie wrote This looks like a very well done anonymous email forwarding service. I've been using [Maskmail](https://www.maskmail.net) for a couple of years now, and have 84 distinct email addresses setup with it for various services. This is a super effective tool for your privacy, with benefits for security as well. By using a unique email address per service organizations loose the ability to track you with a shared email ID. The biggest issue is that many services block these, so AnonAddy's ability to support a custom domain name is a **huge deal**. I’m going to test this out and perhaps switch to it. ## Facts - Kind: [Page](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/kinds/page/) ## Appears in - [WT129: Weekly Thing #129 / Dec 7, 2019](https://weekly.thingelstad.com/archive/129/), Notable Links 📌 ## Mentions - [Maskmail](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/99d056c3390f/) (maskmail.net, June 30, 2018) ## Saved the same week - [Relentlessly simplify – Den Delimarsky](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/6fedd60fbcc5/) (den.dev, November 27, 2019) - [How to create a good onboarding experience for new hires — Quartz at Work](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/ed2e4a774e8d/) (qz.com, November 27, 2019) - [No App for That](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/2b350cc99bf6/) (blogchangemasters.com, November 28, 2019) - [Almond - The Open, Privacy-Preserving Virtual Assistant](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/66f4ca0a0363/) (almond.stanford.edu, December 1, 2019) - [The First Non-Bullshit Book About Culture I’ve Read – zwischenzugs](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/318392583ec3/) (zwischenzugs.com, December 1, 2019) ## Elsewhere - Wayback Machine: https://web.archive.org/web/*/https://anonaddy.com/
