This is mostly notable because it is from the author of Claude Code and I think his "thinking loop" is worth noting.

3. Define the problem
4. Define a clear and simple approach to solve the problem
5. Define a goal
6. Act with urgency to achieve the goal

Funny enough, I recently did an extended session with Claude Code using a thinking loop with execution in the middle to move a project forward. Very similar to what Cherny describes.
