It is the task of journalists and historians to rectify this error. So in order to rectify the future I want to spend most of my time looking at the past because theres nowhere else to look: (a) because the future hasnt happened yet and never will, and (b) because almost all the time in any case the future, as youve heard more than once today, is not really much more than the past with extra bits attached, so to predict, Im saying we look back. ## Facts - Kind: [Page](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/kinds/page/) ## Saved the same week - [Gephi, an open source graph visualization and manipulation software](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/2b3522428e5e/) (gephi.github.io, December 4, 2012) - [Foldify](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/740f2fa7b55a/) (foldifyapp.com, December 4, 2012) - [DSM-V: What Changes May Mean - Autism Research Institute](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/eb53c1fd88bd/) (autism.com, December 4, 2012) - [The First Few Milliseconds of an HTTPS Connection](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/7fd87b53fc74/) (moserware.com, December 5, 2012) - [How To Run a 5 Whys (With Humans, Not Robots)](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/051d590f84d2/) (slideshare.net, December 5, 2012) ## Elsewhere - Wayback Machine: https://web.archive.org/web/*/http://2012.dconstruct.org/conference/burke/transcript/
