## What Jamie wrote

This is a great website to celebrate the 40th Birthday of the Macintosh.

> To celebrate this milestone, _mac40th.com_ showcases every Macintosh desktop and portable Apple has ever made with hundreds of the photos taken as part of the work creating the coffee table book **ICONIC: A Photographic Tribute to Apple Innovation** (3rd edition [now available](https://iconicbook.com/) up to date as of the end of 2023). The site also includes photos taken by [Kevin Taylor](https://www.getoffworld.com/), [Forest McMullin](https://www.forest-mcmullin.com/), [Carl Berkeley](https://www.flickr.com/photos/mac_users_guide/4177701358/), and others (including video) that I've collected over the past 14 years.

Wonderful photos and a ton of memories for long-time Mac users.
