I ask them about Chicago, what startups I should see and if they see anything wrong with the technology ecosystem. They answer my questions, then parlay with the question of what Ive observed so far while being the reporter-in-residence for the total time of two weeks. We go back and forth over the issues I bring up, and then finally, they admit that all of the failures and successes of Chicago tie back to one concept: The Midwest Mentality. ## Facts - Kind: [Page](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/kinds/page/) ## Same host - [Facebook Takes Action, Introduces Action Links to the Open Graph](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/25330fb3849f/) (pando.com, June 4, 2012) - [The last day](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/d6d8be15d093/) (pando.com, November 21, 2012) - [The Anti-Social Era: Lessons Learned from Vimeo Founder Jake Lodwick](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/eaf5b03b7bb1/) (pando.com, November 26, 2012) - [Facebook wont die.
