# Zune fawned over - Host: [9to5mac.com](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/hosts/9to5mac.com/) - Saved: May 28, 2009 (2009-05-29T03:47:29Z) - Record: https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/c8c7f53b66c8/ - JSON: https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/c8c7f53b66c8.json ## From the page (probably an excerpt, not Jamie's words) Gizmodo had a chance to take a look at the Zune.  Surprisingly, they really liked it, though none of its differentiating factors were available. Brian Lam said: The device is tighter and more physically beautiful than the iPod Touch and it's got a better UI, the main menu's scrolling so natural through the swipe gestures. There's a little note on the side, under the volume toggle—"Hello from Seattle." The power button is up top. The home button is nice and prominent, a bar rather than a round button on the Touch. It's smaller. And the accelerometer is more swift in responding to repositioning; images rotate very fast. ## Facts - Kind: [Page](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/kinds/page/) ## Same host - [Kindle 3?](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/eee167009966/) (9to5mac.com, May 26, 2009) - [Canon EOS 5D Mark II 21.1MP Digital SLR Camera Body for $2,500 + free shipping](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/6731073ac61f/) (9to5mac.com, June 4, 2009) - [Another iPhone 3 mockup](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/c34286d9b189/) (9to5mac.com, June 5, 2009) - [Apple's new batteries are bewildering MacBook Pro owners](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/9c3e29174d3b/) (9to5mac.com, June 15, 2009) - [VideoLAN finally hits 1.0](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/3ee50a31afd8/) (9to5mac.com, July 7, 2009) ## Saved the same week - [Minnov8 Gang Podcast - Episode 37](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/75adb95be311/) (minnov8.com, May 27, 2009) - [RIP! in Minneapolis -- May 28.](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/e3ec76f799d3/) (lessig.org, May 27, 2009) - [Researcher-Entrepreneur JV CircLabs To Offer Publishers New Ad-Targeting Service](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/a357e23cdddd/) (gigaom.com, May 28, 2009) - [Introducing Typekit](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/5f04cd65b0ab/) (blog.typekit.com, May 28, 2009) - [Zune HD Hands On: Photos and Video Tour](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/a7e11d2d0530/) (gizmodo.com, May 28, 2009) ## Elsewhere - Wayback Machine: https://web.archive.org/web/*/http://9to5mac.com/zune-review
