This analysis is comparing a lot of 🍎 and 🍊, but it is still a worthwhile read. What I like here is not just assuming that for all workloads the cloud is the best approach. For some it is, for others it isn't. You can’t look at this as one size fits all. I also liked the related [five values guiding](https://world.hey.com/dhh/five-values-guiding-our-cloud-exit-638add47) their transition.

The things that are not mentioned in here are the cost of running everything, the leverage of using managed services, and much more. Doing specific analysis on the cost model is great. In addition, I also like to think about how much of the most precious resource an organization has, which is its people, are working on market differentiating capabilities.
