# PHP Addiction - Host: [marco.org](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/hosts/marco.org/) - Saved: June 29, 2012 (2012-06-29T19:52:43Z) - Record: https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/e02e3821aa76/ - JSON: https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/e02e3821aa76.json ## From the page (probably an excerpt, not Jamie's words) I wrote Tumblr, Instapaper, and Second Crack in PHP. I continue to use it because I know it extremely well, its very easy to use and deploy, and its nearly maintenance-free on servers. When youre a programmer forced to also be your own sysadmin, thats very attractive. But I hate it. Its limited, often clunky, outdated, and deeply flawed. ## Facts - Kind: [Page](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/kinds/page/) ## Same host - [Four LED light bulbs reviewed for normal use](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/debbb9681f2b/) (marco.org, April 11, 2012) - [Cold-brewed coffee results](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/fce5306e43de/) (marco.org, August 3, 2012) - [How to make great iced coffee with an AeroPress](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/a405507d7bff/) (marco.org, August 3, 2012) - [The Magazine Marco.org](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/156cce5f628a/) (marco.org, October 11, 2012) - [An alternate universe Marco.org](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/2050842a216b/) (marco.org, October 27, 2012) ## Saved the same week - [Unlicense.org](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/d72fd8567ab6/) (unlicense.org, June 28, 2012) - [Oliver Starr's answer to Would a lone adult wolf be able to take down an athletic adult human?](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/b116a96be14e/) (quora.com, June 28, 2012) - [JPMorgan Trading Loss May Reach $9 Billion](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/5dc16cc908e2/) (dealbook.nytimes.com, June 28, 2012) - [Facebook testing Want button plugin](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/6bc3b600cf69/) (insidefacebook.com, June 29, 2012) - [Jess & Russ](https://links.thingelstad.xyz/links/25c7e8759fbd/) (jessandruss.us, June 30, 2012) ## Elsewhere - Wayback Machine: https://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.marco.org/2012/06/29/php-addiction
