  "note": "Code Reviews are a fundamental part of most software delivery lifecycles and with the advent of AI coding it, like nearly all aspects of the SDLC, is requiring a rethink. Historically code reviews were a way to improve our craft. Junior engineers would submit their changes to a senior engineer for review. This is a very artisanal process to improve the capabilities of the junior engineers on your team.\n\nOver the years we have overloaded code reviews with tons of other things like security gates and a bunch of automated processes. Now we are having to take this all apart and figure out how to do it in the future. I do think you want multiple agents looking at code in some form of a code review. But the original way it worked is really no longer applicable.",
