U.S. election maps are wildly misleading, so this designer fixed them

Watching the election coverage we got our every-four-year dose of those massive red and blue election maps. They always have frustrated me because they show area, not vote count. It massively overstates rural America and makes it look incredibly lopsided. This view that brings population into the visuals is much more informative.
