It’s approachable, and frankly the web is probably run by PHP more than any other language (every WordPress site, every MediaWiki site, including Wikipedia, etc.) PHP does have a terrible reputation, half of which is deserved because the language did have many issues, the other half it gets because so many developers learn to code in PHP and thus the poor practices of novice developers show up a lot. In truth, an experienced developer using PHP 7.x can write elegant solutions.",
