Interesting article tracking location data as it is sold through multiple data brokers and ultimately can end up in the hands of various secret buyers that use it for purposes very different than it was originally collected. This chain of data better informs that that private data that many dismiss as "just" used for marketing purposes, is often resold and combined with other data for reasons that many people would object to.
