I hadn't heard of Are.na until Buttondown sent an update that they were supporting sharing your newsletter to it. I’m loathe to explore more social apps but Are.na looks more like a bookmarking site. Like some weird middle ground between Pinboard and Pinterest. The site is for users and charges subscriptions. No algorithms feeding you, just real people. It is structured around channels, I made a {Weekly Thing channel](https://www.are.na/jamie-thingelstad/weekly-thing). I like platforms that bring me new and interesting links. Possibly this could be one but I’m still poking at it.
